WATER
I created WATER while watching the attached recording of a stormy coastal cliff. My hands kneaded soft polymer clay to reenact the ocean. With a pattern of destruction and revival, the material would amass in a bulge and then be promptly flattened. I gauged submerged topography by allocating where the sea perpetually rose highest as waves crashed into the rocky terrain. Naturally, my familiarity with sculpting the video improved simultaneously with rationalization. A combination of both was manifested when applying a final layer of stiffer clay that finalized the form and its finer details.
